Nutraceutic Andean Food (cures and nourishes)

Good health is a fundamental state of being to be able to perceive the subtle language of the universe.

The time and the determination that our ancestors have dedicated through thousands of years in search of balance with nature, has evolved into a deep knowledge of the appropriate food combinations for the physical and spiritual fortification. This is the reason why we offer to the visitor our rich and healthy Nutraceutic Andean food. The crops are organically raised to reach the well-being (Sumak There Kawsay) of all.

Music

In center of the ancestral wisdom the music of Pakarinka Sisari harmonizes the visitor with the silence that only ears of the soul can perceive, you will hear how the Pacha Mama expresses herself through the smooth movement of the water, the delicate dance of the wind, the vibration offered by mother earth to us that is expressed in our surroundings, in the warmth of our father fire and the sweet melody of the life.

These musicians from the sacred mountain of Imbabura live their ancestral inheritance through the magic power of music as it was taught by their grandparents and grandmothers, necessary element for the integral growth.

This is the reason why we put this music for your benefit, it uses the fundamental principles of the Sumak TaKi Sami (the spiritual essence of music) taking advantage of each one the sounds reproduced by our instruments.

Dance

The dance at Pakarinka Sisari is related to the agricultural festivities of our Andean culture, it is participative and communitarian. Through the psychophysical movements and runa (native, natural) positions, the Andean world has found itself and universal balance. Such knowledge was granted to us to be shared with all those who visit to us.

Rituality - Spirituality

Rituality is a moment to close the wheel of the reciprocity (Randimanta) with the elements and spirits of nature. This is an opportunity for the visitor to be part of the sublime moment of receiving our Pachamama in his or her heart.
To be parts of the great life in its diversity, it takes us to understand, and respect the laws of nature in our lives.

Museum

The search for the wisdom of our ancestors has taken us to find pieces of great historical archaeological, cultural, and spiritual value. The Pachamama brought to our hands reflections of an extremely creative life, archaeological pieces that express the wise and balanced hands that made them and bring in themselves the message of our ancestors to help us solve the great difficulties of these times.

Because of that, we have opened the Archaeological Museum Pakarinka Sisari so that the local communities and people from all over the world become aware of the cultural greatness and agro-diversity of these original towns.

Bio-architecture

The Pakarinka Sisari Ancestral Wisdom Center is located in the indigenous Community of Agato, in the sector "Chimbaloma". It is an adobe construction with straw ceiling. The construction technique is the same one used by our ancestors; it is a live and healthy construction.

The central plan design is a Chacana (Andean Cross that represents the Southern Cross). This direct relation with the stars reflects the telluric and transcendental force of the site where it was constructed.

The center consists of an archaeological museum, dormitories, ecological baths, a complete kitchen, a mud furnace, an organic orchard, garden of medicinal plants, areas of contemplation and meditation.

At the moment we are in the process of implementing renewable energies (solar, thermal energy). We wish that our house is another live example of harmony with nature.
