Pakarinka Sisari Ancestral Wisdom Center

Our Ancestral Inheritance

Our Andean culture is alive and vivifying, for that reason the secrets of the ancestral life have been preserved with extraordinary wisdom to be shared today in reciprocal growing (watunakuy), as it were announced long ago by our ancestors. The ancestral wisdom was communicated from spiritual teacher (Taita Yachak), to student, from grandparents to grandchildren, in a mystical tradition that interconnects all the generations. We remember the traditional wisdom of our grandfather Yachak José Santillán Amaguaña, who was harassed because he lived according to his indigenous Andean wisdom. Before his death, the transmission of his ancestral wisdom was trusted to his son Rafael Santillán Amaguaña.

As leader and spiritual guide to the indigenous community of Agato, Don Rafael spread the prophecy that was being developed from the depths of the Earth: "Jaripak churi ñami shamunchi kaipimi kanchi" "Children of the Great force, we are arriving, we are here".
